Location : Los Angeles, California We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced ETL Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating data integration and transformation processes, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting the delivery of high-quality data solutions. You will work closely with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to test and validate ETL workflows and data pipelines. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for ETL processes. Prepare detailed test cases and scenarios based on business requirements and technical design documents. Execute test cases to validate ETL workflows and data transformations. Perform various types of testing including functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across source and target systems. Identify, document, and track defects using standard defect tracking tools. Collaborate with development and data engineering teams to resolve issues and verify fixes. Generate test reports, metrics, and dashboards to communicate testing progress and quality status to stakeholders. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings. Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong experience in ETL Testing with a focus on data validation and transformation. Proficiency in SQL for data querying, validation, and analysis. Hands-on experience with Informatica and Snowflake or similar ETL and cloud data platforms. Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing life cycle, and defect management processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with test automation tools for data testing. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $80420 to $106050 / yearly. This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
